Balgonie Outdoor Swimming Pool
The Balgonie Swimming Pool officially opened on July 1, 2025, and it features a 25-meter 4 lane lap pool.
The pool can be accessed by a sloped beach entry where there are geysers, a water umbrella and a kiddie pelican slide. We also have a 13.95’ waterslide, a diving board and a vortex to keep the kids entertained!
Besides lessons, we facilitate public swimming, aquacise, lane swimming, adaptive swimming and parent & tot swimming times.
Swimming Lessons & Programming
The Balgonie Swimming Pool offers a full schedule of aquatic programs in the summer, instructor dependent.
Registration
Lesson registration must be done online through Univerus (https://app.univerusrec.com/balgoniepub/).
To register, you will need to create an account if you haven’t already done so.
Please use the Balgonie Swimming Lesson Infographic to determine what level is appropriate for your child. If you have questions, you can e-mail the Pool Manager to discuss the best level for your swimmer.
Private Lessons
Private Swimming Lessons will be available in 2026, instructor dependent. Private lesson details will be made available after the swimming pool opens.
Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross
We want to offer Bronze courses this summer. There is survey available to determine the need for these courses. Please fill out the survey if you have a swimmer interested!
