Large Hall Details

Large Hall Rental:

  • Rental Fee for large events such as weddings: $750 (includes refundable damage deposit) + Corkage ($3.25/person).
  • Rental Fee for Funerals: $500.00.
  • Rental Fee for a Community Fundraiser: $425.00.
  • Hourly Fee: $100.00 per hour + $50.00 janitorial fee.
  • Keys must be picked up the Friday before the event and must be dropped off the following Monday. If your event is on a long weekend, the keys must be dropped off on the following Tuesday.

 

Liquor Permit:

  • Renter is responsible for purchasing the liquor permit and liquor, as per SLGA.
  • Liquor will not be served if a liquor permit is not posted.
  • Homemade alcohol products of any type are not permitted.
  • Renter is responsible for determining the times the bar opens/closes, although the hall must be vacated by 2:00 a.m.

 

Bartenders:

  • Renters are not permitted to use their own bartenders.
  • Bartenders are $200.00 – includes a minimum of two bartenders that are provided by the Town of Balgonie.
  • Renter is responsible for arranging for ticket sellers (must be legal age). Multiplex Staff will not handle any money on behalf of the renter.

 

Large Hall Rental includes:

  • Kitchen, both large and small halls, coat room, and washrooms.
  • Janitorial fees.
  • Set-up and take-down of tables and chairs only. Decorations must be removed by the renters.

 

Small Hall Details

Small Hall Rental:

  • Rental Fee with Kitchen Access: $250.00/day. Janitorial fee, set-up and take-down included.
  • Rental Fee without Kitchen Access: $175.00/day. Janitorial fee, set-up and take-down included.
  • Hourly Fee: $40.00/hour + $50.00 janitorial fee.
  • Keys must be picked up the Friday before the event and must be dropped off the following Monday. If your event is on a long weekend, the keys must be dropped off on the following Tuesday.

 

Kitchen Rental:

  • $100.00/day.

Floor plans are required a minimum of one week prior to your event to ensure proper set-up.

  • Large Hall – 80’ x 60’ – can accommodate 275-300 people max.
  • Small Hall – 30’ x 40’ – can accommodate 75 people max.
  • Tables – 30” x 72”.
    • May be placed together to fit 8-10 people.
    • If renting table linens, you will require 81” x 81”.
    • White plastic coverings can be provided by request.
  • Cake Table – 3’ x 3’.
  • Stage Pieces – 4’ x 8’.
  • Chairs – 430 Royal Blue Plastic Chairs.
