Balgonie and Area Volunteer Appreciation Night

5:00 – 7:00 pm – Come and go supper. Each guest will receive a basket of wings, a slice of pizza and a beverage of your choice.

6:00 – 7:00 pm – Greenall High School’s R&B Band performance.

7:00 – 7:30 pm – Small program.

7:30 – 1:00 am – Recorded music and dance, cash bar.

In honour of all those who volunteer their time – whether it be coaching the many sports in and around town, organizing events such as dinner theatres, tournaments, recitals, helping with the planning of any type of meeting, and fundraising events – to those who just help keep our community clean, the Council of Balgonie wants to thank you! Please join us for an evening to thank you for the volunteerism you and your family have done for our community.

Guest will also be entered into a draw for a Saskatchewan Rough Riders Jersey.

We ask that you kindly RSVP to the Town, to ensure that there is enough food for all to enjoy.

Outdoor soccer registration will be open online at www.balgoniesoccer.com March 1 to 31.

The 2019 Outdoor season begins in late April and ends in late June (Approximately 16 games for U06 to U19, 10 games for U04).

All games are on weekdays except for the season ending tournament which will be played over a weekend in late June.

Barricades will be in place while paving from Herauf Street to Highway #46 is completed.

We ask that you please use other access points to and from town, for this area.

Thank you for your patience.

Starting Monday afternoon, the Eastbound On ramp at Balgonie will be reopened to traffic, allowing the Highway 1 Eastbound traffic to travel north on Highway 46 and south on Highway 622 via the bridge interchange.
Phase 2 Traffic Restrictions

1. NEW closure includes the Westbound On ramp. – Highway 1 Westbound via the bridge.

2. Traffic wanting to travel East or West on Highway 1 will need to use the North Service Road and access the highway at White City.

Work on the Balgonie Bridge is scheduled to be completed prior to the August long weekend, weather permitting.
